4 Things You Can Recycle and Reuse: Beneficial Reuse NJ

Environment-conscious people put a lot of emphasis on buying recyclable products and the products with recyclable packing. Unfortunately, however, most of these recyclable goods and packing still end up in landfills. Recycling is a great way to reduce our environmental footprint. In fact, we can have beneficial reuse NJ by recycling most of the things we use every day. Here are three things, out of many, that can be recycled easily and that can help us in reducing harm to the environment.

  • Glass

We can have beneficial reuse NJ of glass by recycling used glass and turn it into new glass products. It has been estimated that recycling glass uses 40 percent less energy, causes 20 percent less air pollution, and reduces water pollution by around 50 percent as compared to producing new glass.

  • Plastic

Plastic is one of the most common materials used in packing. From a small toffee wrapper to plastic bottles, we use many products that use plastic for packaging. Most of this plastic can be recycled. Although, products made with recycled plastic usually have low quality. Still, we can recycle most of the plastic we use but are not using plastic recycling to its full potential.

  • Paper and Cardboard

Fortunately, most of the paper and cardboard products and packing can be recycled. Currently, around 75 percent of paper and cardboard is being recycled. There are still some types of paper and cardboards that cannot be recycled efficiently.

  • Aluminum

Aluminum is preferred for soft drink cans and other packing for its quality, light weight, and durability. Fortunately, over 95 percent of the aluminum is recycled.

Aluminum recycling is an environmental success story, and we need to implement similar measures for the recycling of other products. This will help us use our earth’s limited resources efficiently and protect our environment for future generations.
